Howdy hey, chat! Jelly here, filling in for the usual cadre of JANART enthusiasts. It can't be helped, so you're stuck with me for the time being. This showcase will include the following: spoilers for AI: Nirvana Initiative and Inscryption - starting with the latter and ending with the former.
Let's start things off on the right note with some serene Trolley-chan fanart! A chan after our own hearts, huh?

Are you familiar with the ancient symbol known as the Ouroboros, Zach? Yes, well I suppose it *is* a pretty common symbol, as far as representation in media. A serpent eating its own tail, self-destructive and self-sustaining at the same time... quite the vicious cycle, no? Oh, excuse me. Just feeling a little philosophical is all, Zach. Back to the case - the showcase, that is.

Speaking of DNA - streams may have been Idle last week, but our talented artists never cease to Evolve and amaze.

Did you know? In Balder's Gate 3, if your character is strong enough to throw something, they're able to stow it in their inventory and carry it with them at all times. This applies to items (a locked chest you couldn't pick, for example) and even creatures (like the limp body of a goblin who looked at you wrong). These can also be used as thrown or improvised weapons, so if you wanted to - just as a *completely* random example - carry around something like a wooden cart with you for the entire game and use it as your only weapon, you could absolutely do so. Just a fun fact.

This is your off-ramp for spoilers, chat! We're approaching the cliff at a blistering 6 minutes per Somnium, which I'm currently being told is both an unreliable and completely fluid amount of time.
Seriously though, heavy spoilers ahead.

We've been had! This cute chan wasn't straight(forward) at all!
While we're at it, here's some creator commentary from Spange:
- 'X' pattern on kimono is referencing Naix, as well as the purple on the obi hinting that Tokiko's doing stuff behind the scenes.
- [In the first image, earlier in the gallery] the blue/orange veins are actually on the "wrong" side, but since it's a back view and her head is turned towards the viewer it becomes an optical illusion.
- Obi design is meant to evoke the nodes on the flowchart, but none of them are horizontally connected which is supposed to show how the game is more or less linear.
- Twintails -> braid. Acts like past/present -> 🧬
- If you squint, the long strand of hair on the top of her head could represent the diverge route.
